The Type ANJ-4 shearling sheepskin flying jacket was first introduced May 17th 1943, replacing the Type B-3 and was only in service until 1944 being replaced by fabric pile-lined flight jackets.
As it was the last of the shearling flight jackets, therefore benefiting in design and construction from previous models, it was outstanding although a very technical and labour intensive jacket to produce.
The Simmons Bilt ANJ-4 is an exceptional reproduction, using only the highest quality raw materials, hardware and built by one of the top sheepskin artisans in the country.
Jacket illustrated is seal brown 25mm shearling sheepskin with Horween Warhawk vintage horsehide trim. Also available in 15mm sheepskin.
